Signalex Power Bank 1200mAh

I picked up one of these Signalex Power Bank’s in Melbourne, Australia recently. It cost $5.95 AUD. I thought I would give it a try and give you a quick review. Power banks always come in handy if you are out and need to charge your phone.

The power bank has a mAh battery rating of 1200. It displays a red charging light which flashes until it is finished and has a solid blue light when charging your device. It’s very light (Measured at 3 grams) and comes in many different colors. It comes with a small micro USB to Normal Type-A USB cable and a nice little cable to fit it around your key ring. On one end of the power bank it has a Normal Type-A USB port and a Micro USB port.

Here are some quick specs (These are my measurement and may not be 100% accurate)

Charging time of power bank: 2 hours and 21 minutes

DC Output: 5v 1.0a

On my iPhone 8 it gave me a 32% power increase. It took 36 minutes to charge from 40% to 72%.

If you need more charge on your device then this may not be the power bank for you, maybe something with a higher mAh rating. such as the Xiaomi Power Bank 20000mAh (Link to eBay Australia) or the Anker PowerCore 20100mAh (Link to Amazon USA)

For a small power boost, cheap price and light little power bank then this may suit.

By the way have you seen the RAVPower FileHub? It's a travel Router with wifi AC750 300Mbps Wi-Fi on 2.4Ghz or 433 Mbps on 5Ghz. It includes an SD Card Reader, 6700mAh Battery and can connect an SSD hd. Make this a portable NAS to store your pics and videos or upload your SD card pics/videos to a SSD hd. This is a bargain for under $60. (Amazon USA Link)
