Set printer options via command line in Windows

When installing a new printer driver sometimes it does not appear in the control panel -> Devices and Printers.

If you need to set options for the freshly installed printer driver this is how youc an do it via command line in Windows.

How to set printer options via command line:

1. Open command prompt “cmd”

2. Type RUNDLL32 PRINTUI.DLL,PrintUIEntry /e /n “\\server\printername”

The /e opens the printer preferences

/n is the name of the printer
